Descrição da vaga: Offer DescriptionApplications are invited for Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join the FAPESP Thematic Project entitled “Single-cell transcriptomic analysis and in vitro characterization of molecular causes of immunotherapy failure in advanced prostate cancer” within the University of São Paulo’s Ribeirão Preto Medical School (FMRP-USP) in Brazil.We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic individual with excellent bioinformatics skills in molecular biology and in Single cell transcriptomics and Digital Spatial Profiling (DSP) to work on the project “Analysis of the TME Response to PTEN Loss”.The candidate will use their strong computational background and significant experience in bioinformatics and statistical approaches to analyze and interpret whole transcriptome data generated from RNA sequencing and integrate this with other “omics” data including immunology. Our ultimate goal is to perform the single cell sequencing (scRNA-seq) and DSP and provide comprehensive data analysis of the tumor microenvironment (TME) of advanced PCa. The combination of DSP and our scRNA-seq data will allow prediction of what immune changes in the TME are associated with loss of protein PTEN and what pathways are driving resistance to immunotherapy in advanced prostate cancer.Applicants must have a PhD in cell and molecular biology, cancer biology, computational biology, bioinformatics or closely related fields.This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality.
