Descrição da vaga: Senior Hydraulic Systems Engineer – Product Development – NASA X-66Company: BBST – BrazilJob ID: 00000427865Date Posted: 2024-07-17Location: BRA – Sao Jose dos Campos, BrazilJob Description Qualifications:Boeing Brazil is seeking Senior Hydraulic Systems Engineer, reporting to the Hydraulic Systems Engineering Manager, working out of the São José dos Campos office.The Senior Hydraulic Systems Engineer will work on the development phase of a new airplane.Position Responsibilities:

• Develop system requirements and define system architecture.
• Develop or review hardware and software designs and associated interface specifications.
• Ownership of component level design requirements.
• Analyze system performance through modeling and simulation.
• Support the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups.
• Perform and document analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
• Perform detail design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations.
• Develop, verify, validate, and certify designs through both laboratory and airplane testing.
• Research and development of technologies for potential future applications.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Must have existing rights to work in Brazil
• Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language
• Must have a degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia – CREA). Applicable to Brazilian, recent engineering graduates within 6 months and foreign engineers when the employer is willing visa sponsor.

• Experience working in one full-cycle development on hydraulic systems

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

• Experience working on innovative environments
• Experience working with integrated cross-functional teams
• Project management skills
