Descrição da vaga: Offer DescriptionApplications are now open for one (1) postdoctoral fellowship in a project investigating the regulatory role of protein phosphorylation in the modulation of protein-protein interactions and in the chaperone activity of the Hsp90/SGT and Hsp90/Aha1 complexes in Leishmania braziliensis.The research focuses on the relationship between structure and function of the Hsp90 machinery, with an emphasis on protein-protein interactions. It is expected to build models that explain the mechanism of interaction between Hsp90 and its co-chaperones, as well as the modulation of the Hsp90 functional cycle by these interactions.The Candidate requirements are:

• Doctorate completed less than 7 years ago;

• Experience in cell biology, protein purification, molecular biophysics and protein-protein interactions;

• Practical knowledge of mass spectrometry will be an advantage.

Additional Information:

• The fellowship holder must dedicate himself/herself fully to the research project;

• It is not permitted to maintain an employment relationship during the fellowship.
