If you have any diversity markers, feel even more encouraged to apply for this position, we will be very happy to meet you!This job position is preferable designated for black people .GET TO KNOW OUR AREA:The objective of the Supply Chain Intelligence Area is to enhance customer experience, operational efficiency and decision-making through the integration and analysis of key components such as Master Data, Performance metrics, Optimization strategies, and Legal Entity Integration.YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:
- Distribution Network Optimization Operation | Responsible for optimizing the distribution networks of the countries and country clusters in LATAM region, for Crop Protection and Seeds Business, aligned with the Global Distribution Network Design strategies and guidelines. Model scenarios for logistics network optimization, considering multiple variables as routes, distribution centers, transportation resources, network alternatives, etc. while balancing operational efficiency and service levels.
- Align assumptions with SCM local team’s and gather and structure data.
- Deliver sensitivity analyses of the results, including financial and operational impacts of each scenario and ensure the creation of the most efficient distribution network design, meeting with customer needs, reducing material flow bottlenecks and creating an optimal cost.
- Supply chain strategy simulation and analysis | Develop simulations and analysis by mathematical modelling, network modelling and decision analysis methods to drive business strategies as well as support global optimization initiatives in e.g. Transportation, Distribution, CP and Seed Networks.
- Continuous Improvement | Track results of the proposed distribution network and use results to improve models robustness, (e.g.: identifying new variables or constraints to be added to the model logic). Monitoring supply chain performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for continuous improvement. Implementing data-driven initiatives and monitoring the effectiveness of optimization strategies.
- Effective Supply Chain Design | Ensures implementation of LATAM large- scale network projects that incorporate a proactive and innovative solution to addressing business challenges and achieving organizational goals and objectives.
- Visibiltiy | Develop robust tools and governance in order to provide the best visibility and decision making tools for SCM LATAM organization.
- Process Optimization | Identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and waste in the supply chain processes. Implementing improvement initiatives and lean methodologies to streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve overall efficiency.
- Collaboration and Cross-Functional Leadership | Working closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, logistics, and sales, to align supply chain objectives with overall business goals. Collaborating to implement strategies that improve coordination and communication across departments.
ARE YOU READY FOR THE POSITION?Must have:
- Bachelor’s degree, on Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields
- Solid experience in Supply Chain
- Solid analytical skills and proficient in Excel
- Fluent Portuguese and English
- Outstanding communication, organization and influencing skills
- Operational Research knowledge
