Descrição da vaga: Job DescriptionHybrid: This position does not require an employee to be on a full-time basisWhat You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

  • Voice of Quality to regional and global program execution teams (PET) and lead continuous improvement process of these products (CPIP)
  • Assess and ensure that all quality targets and program deliverables are being met and driving customer satisfaction. Escalate to leadership when assistance is needed.
  • Support global launch processes as per the Global Vehicle Development Process (GVDP).

Product Development Quality

  • Propose, develop and execute quality initiatives that will ensure customer satisfaction of premium/luxury vehicle segment customers in GMSA
  • Execute the Global Program Quality Plan Process (GPQP), including program reviews, product and competitor’s assessment, quality audits and rides, among others.
  • Work in synergy with local and global Product Engineering
  • Learn and share best practices from/with other regions
  • Grasp market trends of premium/luxury vehicles in South America
  • Lead Ship to Commerce and Start of Sales Program Quality Readiness Reviews in the sales region
  • Plan, implement, and execute the quality fleet evaluation process (CTF)
  • Participate and support Launch Team activities to ensure program quality business plans, metrics, and program quality readiness deliverables are being addressed.
  • Lead and provide quality input to design change process based on the review cadence, including customer requirements, lessons learned, Warranty, Voice of the Customer, and vehicle audits.
  • Support Launch Excellence initiatives.

Current Product Improvement Process (CPIP)

  • Track vehicle quality performance (Warranty, Compass, QFS, QAS, Consumer Report, Reliability & Durability, Buybacks, NPS, W&P etc)
  • Closely monitor vehicle source metrics (Warranty, Compass, Buybacks, etc) to identify emerging issues that can impact sales region
  • Work proactively to address at yard any identified emerging issue
  • Conduct technical Data Analysis & Reporting.
  • Develop, drive, and track along with export region the actions to improve Warranty, Compass and Customer Experience
  • Drive regional and global collaboration to achieve the Regional Quality Targets.
  • Track and drive Frontloading activities for N&M Programs
  • Look for process improvement opportunities and work to implement them
  • Support initiatives to improve Customer Experience.

Additional Job DescriptionYour Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering
  • Experience in Product and/or Quality Engineering
  • Advanced or Fluency in English

  • Knowledge of automotive industry
  • High level knowledge of product, market trends, quality, manufacturing, product development process
  • Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • Spanish desired
  • Mobility to travel
