Descrição da vaga: We are seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist for product classification to join the Trade Compliance team either in Irapuato (Mexico), Sorocaba (Brazil) or Santiago (Chile)!As a Trade Compliance Specialist – Product Classification, you will:

• Support classification of materials with customs tariff codes (e.g., HS Codes, TARIC, HTS) in SAP GTS, for ensuring availability of the tariff codes at import/export customs clearances and hence contributing to On-Time Delivery performance
• Review product technical specifications and apply the General Rules of Interpretation (GRI) of the Harmonized Schedule (HS) to assign correct customs tariff codes to materials.
• Collaborate with stakeholders such as engineering and product lines to ensure accurate tariff classifications for materials.
• Prepare, validate, and maintain master datasets critical for global classification processes.
• Support import duty and tariff classification analysis requests, and handle other tasks assigned to you.
