Descrição da vaga: Offer DescriptionThe Department of Biophysics & Pharmacology of the São Paulo State University’s Botucatu Institute of Biosciences (IBB-UNESP), in Botucatu, Brazil, is seeking candidates for a post-doctoral fellowship granted by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) for up to 36 months. Candidates from all nationalities are welcome to apply.The researcher will join the team of the FAPESP Young Investigator – Phase 2 Research Grant “Translational studies on the sperm-binding protein EPPIN as a male contraceptive drug target”. He/She will be responsible for designing and conducting assays to (1) design, synthesize, and purify peptides; (2) assess biomolecular interactions; and (3) evaluate molecular and functional sperm parameters.Qualifications required:– Ph.D. degree;– Experience in peptide synthesis and purification, biomolecule interaction assays, sperm analysis, and animal experimentation;– Fluency in English;– Excellent academic track record.To apply, candidates must send the following documents (in a single pdf file) to Prof. Erick J.R.
