- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar IT-related discipline; a master’s degree is a plus.
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development.
- Ability to explain technical topics to non-technical people.
- A collaborative and positive attitude.
- Proven experience in developing and operating applications.
- Experience with API integrations.
- Knowledge and experience in most of the following areas:
- Web front-end technology (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, or React).
- Back-end technology (e.g., Java EE – EJB’s, JPA, JTA).
- Architecture patterns (e.g., Microservices, Event-driven, Layered).
- Database technologies (e.g., MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
- Common integration protocols (e.g., REST, SOAP, XML, or HTTP).
- CI/CD.
- Cloud solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Cloud Foundry, or Kubernetes).
- Strong and confident technical decision-making.
- Ability to work in diverse environments (multi-cultural, multi-country, and geographically distributed teams).
- Desirable skills: Experience with Mendix or other low-code development platforms (willingness to learn).
- Desirable skills: Experience with JUnit.
- Familiarity with or experience in agile development methodology in a DevOps team.
- Language skills: Fluency in English is a must.
