Shift: ComercialPurpose of the position:As a project management partner, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the project, assigning tasks, mobilizing necessary resources, and monitoring and reporting on key dimensions (such as work package completion, risks, opportunities, issues, schedule, budget, etc.). You will ensure delivery in line with the project sponsors’ expectations, tolerances, timings, and expected business benefits. Additionally, you will help design and follow project governance, cultivate effective relationships with stakeholders, and promote continuous improvement by sharing knowledge and developing the project management team’s skills.A day in the life of…
- Act as a project management partner: ensure the day-to-day management of the project through assignment of project work, mobilization of required resources and monitoring and reporting on key dimensions (e.g. work packages completion, risks, opportunities, issues, schedule, budget, etc.). Manage delivery in line with the project sponsors expectations, tolerances, timings and expected business benefits.
- Project Governance: help design, follow and contribute to the established project governance. Demonstrate emerging stakeholder management skills (e.g. proactively seek alignment of project activities with business and sponsor’s objectives). Propose alternative ways of working or strategies whenever relevant and when contributing to better project outcomes.
- Effectively build and maintain relationships: working with key stakeholders and team members and cultivating a network of experts inside and outside the organization Project management tools and practices: is knowledgeable and ensures a consistent application of project management key practices, standards, methodologies, tools and templates.
- Continuous improvement: have a continuous improvement mindset (incl. simplification, standardization, sharing, automation) to remove waste and enhance team performance. Takes place in the PM community of practice.
- Coach and Develop: supports junior members of the team in developing the required skills of project management. Build and maintain reference methodologies, standards, tools and templates of Project Management tailored to the business domains, deliver training material and courses and on the job coaching.
Required knowledge:
- Fluent Spanish & English mandatory
- Experience in project management as a role including transition, change management and controlling & monitoring responsibilities
- Leadership skills and emerging skills in people/team development
- Training in project management practices (e.g. Waterfall, Agile) is desired
- Managing cultural diversity: respect and ability to cooperate with various cultures in the most effective way
- Operate in a Matrix Organization and leveraging influencing skills
- Reliable, Adaptable, Digitally-agile, customer-centric, Innovative, result-driven, fast-paced
